Rebecca Crebbin-Coates, Program Manager, Graduate Student Assistant; 

Rebecca is a dual Masters student at UC Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy and the Energy and Resources Group. She has a background in ecology and environmental policy, and graduated from UC Santa Cruz. Rebecca oversees the implementation and coordination of the BioBlitzes, Every Kid in a Park-Richmond internship and Climate Change Action internship. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys dancing and exploring the outdoors.


Paola Flores, Program Coordinator intern;

Paola is graduating from UC Berkeley in May 2016 with a double major in Ethnic Studies and Society and the Environment. She ensured that all 10 Outdoor Convenings in Fall 2015 were a success. She’s helping to implement the Every Kid in a Park-Richmond internship in Spring 2016 and is participating as an intern herself! Paola is an intern with Kids for the Bay and is an Education Facilitator in MEChXA. Paola enjoys running and exploring San Francisco with her sister.


Ellie Householder, Operations Coordinator intern; 

Ellie is studying American Studies at UC Berkeley and will graduate in May 2016. She is currently participating in the UCDC program. She oversees the operations of the CA Outdoor Engagement Coalition to help us meet our strategic priority of creating and maintaining streamlined systems to maximize efficiency and impact. In her free time, Ellie loves to adventure with her three-legged Chihuahua named Sheena.


Daniel Lopez, Communications Coordinator intern; 

Daniel is a UC Berkeley third year studying Conservation and Resource Studies with a minor in CalTeach. He is currently spending the Spring 2016 semester abroad studying at the University of Melbourne. While on staff of the California Outdoor Engagement Coalition Outside of the classroom, Daniel created our first coalition video! He is interested in photography, astronomy, and music.  


Jenny Mulholland-Beahrs, Director; 

Jenny graduated from UC Berkeley in 2001. She taught elementary school for four years in the Mississippi Delta and in Surrey, England. She was the Education Manager for the NGO Akanksha in Pune, India and was a staff coach, trainer and designer at Teach for America for five years. Jenny was co-chair of Education Outreach for UC Berkeley’s Science for Parks, Parks for Science summit, prior to creating the CA Outdoor Engagement Coalition in Summer 2015. She serves on the board of the Berkeley Public Schools Fund and the Candlestick Park State Recreation Area Interpretative Planning Advisory Committee. In her free time, Jenny enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and their two young children.


Camila Quintana del Carpio, Program Coordinator intern; 

Camila is studying Environmental Science and Forestry at UC Berkeley and will graduate in May 2018. She is playing a pivotal role in the organization and implementation of the Spring 2016 Climate Change Action Internship and 2016 BioBlitzes.  She is attending UC Berkeley’s Forestry Camp in summer 2016. In her free time, Camila enjoys hiking and salsa dancing.
